
Hema’s Red Chutney for Idlis

Ingredients
- 2 big Onion
- 3-4 medium Tomato
- 11 Green chilies
- 7-8 Red chilies
- 0.5 bunch Fresh coriander
- Curry leaves
- Garlic pods
- Ginger
- Oil
Instructions
- 1.Sauté the big onions, tomatoes, green chilies, red chilies, fresh coriander, curry leaves, garlic pods, and ginger in oil until softened.
- 2.Grind the sautéed mixture into a smooth paste.
- 3.In a separate pan, heat more oil, add the additional onion, and prepare a tempering (Thadukka).
- 4.Add the ground paste to the tempering and cook well.
